POLAND is a republic in Central Europe bordering Germany to the west of the Oder-Neisse border, Czech and Slovakia to the south, Russia (Kaliningrad), Lithuania in the east and Belarus and Ukraine in the west (Curzon Line).

Administratively divided into 16 provinces which in English is called voivodship or Województwo in Polish language. Each province is divided into several Powiat (such districts, and each is divided into several Gmina Powiat (a kind of sub-districts).

Bieszczady Mountains 

A paradise for the romantic, nature lovers and restless drifters. Soft green mountains peppered with traditional wooden churches is one of the most remote areas in Europe.
