Lost Bet,Virgin Airlines Boss Will be AirAsia stewardess


In 2010, Virgin Airlines CEO Richard Branson and AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes bets in the event the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. Virgin teams lose. Branson also promise to be a flight attendant on AirAsia!

At stake, they have agreed. If their team loses, Branson or Fernandes will stewardess uniform and serve the airline flight opponent. Virgin team was defeated in the top 12, while Team Lotus (owned by Fernandes) is in position 10.


Yes, the eccentric CEO Richard Branson had to wear a uniform bright red AirAsia stewardess style and serve passengers. Actual bets could be delayed because of the accident while skiing Branson. However, Branson still fulfill his promise. Fernandes said Branson had contacted him to realize the bet.


"He will be AirAsia stewardess in May. Late for 2 years, but the most important thing he did not forget," Fernandes said through his Twitter account.


Earlier, Fernandes had to explain about the bet. Branson will plunge directly into the aircraft AirAsia to offer coffee, tea, or other food to the passengers. It's a special flight from Kuala Lumpur to London, with a journey time 13 hours. Proceeds from sales of tickets will be used for donations.
